The purpose of the Process Series Review is to validate the quality and capacity of your organization’s manufacturing process to ensure a successful launch of new manufactured components or effective corrective action of known or suspected problems.

The PSR is a manufacturing process audit on a single production line and part number (or part family). This very narrow focus differentiates the PSR from the more general Supplier Systems Assessment (SSA), which looks at the overall business processes deployed by your organization.

Functionally, the PSR is conducted in the same mode as an SSA for scheduling, team and your organization’s involvement, reporting and follow up action plans.
